Ok hey everyone really sorry nvr really talk about the tahan trip properly. Couldnt upload the photos to Mr Chua either.. too lazy copy into CD haha.. ok so i shall start now.


Ok this is me and hanwei who is flashing his biceps haha. This is the base camp of Mt Tahan!!!


2nd river passed on the first day. Total, we passed 5 rivers!!!! Only in the first day man!!


Does this look nice? Actually it is infested wif leeches!! and its so damn dirty sia... jungle....


This is the sign board at last. 2nd day alr. Err.. Camp Kubang i think. it was really cold at night and we really slogged on the 2nd day which was said to be the most tiring besides climbing to the summit. No jokin..

Alright after pitchin our tents at 4pm, we had nothing else to do so some of us (excluding most of the NCC pple who were playin their hand games) sat around and started talkin about many stuff. You can be amazed by how a teacher changes in a camp!!


Ok i shall talk about them! Mr Tommie chen. He has a masters in english literature and is currently a english lit teacher in HCI. He was formerly a PE teacher and got a masters in tht as well i think. He is the form teacher of 1.. N i think.. haha. He talks very well and also accomodates our jokes although some might be very insulting to his collegues or something like that. He enjoys talkin wif us. Normally we talk crap which is really very entertaining! haha.. O yeah he can flex his boobs muscles independantly! Hanwei was so damn impressed.. haha

Benny Santoso. Probably the most thirsty guy in camp. He is actually PERHAPS one of the weakest here but he slogs on just complaining a few times. He is like an empty bottle of water, always waiting for us to refill. They call him 山羊 cuz he found Mr Chen's slippers in the mountain. What eagle eyes sia! Haha but altogether he is a very nice sec4 and he is really good at cheering pple up. I love to be behind him cuz he is really slow and it can give me lots of rest. He is currenly in the High School Council.

Sia Hanwei. My good friend and my camp mate. He is really the kinda fren u want in a camp. He really takes care of everything you need. For example, he lugged Joshua and my mess tins, all the worthless rubbish up the mountain and down the mountain. He is also something like a camel. Doesnt need a lot of water and doesnt complain. His ropetyying skills are also great. He insults scouts while we are climbing but when he ties the tent and we praise his tying skills, he will always attribute it to the scouts. He is willing to sleep beside Jit Woon and wiling to sleep in the hardest ground. He doesnt mind doing anything dirty or anything just as long as we give him the little we can. He eats very little and does so MANY stuff. Thts why he is the Best Camper! He is always behind me, he knows how to operate my camera cuz he is the one who took most of the shots. He also knows my backpack inside out. He knows where my bottles are, torch light, aquatabs etc. Really good. Always saving my ass, telling me to watch out for thorns but he himself kena thorns and its all my fault but he doesnt complain at all. ok complain much. Thanks a lot hanwei!!!

Well, er.. this is wad we went through luh. I was ahead of the NCC people as always cuz they always wait for each other... blood brothers.. So the one is white trying to get up is Yang Cheng, one of the NCCs dunno where the rest go ar??

Our tent on the 2nd day. This is Joshua. We built the tent without looking. to the right of the tent is a bush wif as many thorns as the hair on the legs on Kang Tai. And somemore our tent is so damn far from the others. We kena pontianak oso nobody knows.. wtf somemore supposed to hav tigers, snakes.. and form the picture u can see. I am not tiltin the camera. This is our tent sloping to the sides. So all of us legs facing the door of the tent. And all sliding to the right. wtf...

AND OUT WE GO ON THE 3rd DAY!!! ME AND BENNY!!!

Well, on the way to the summit. Trying to get to the summit. er.. 4 hours more from Camp Bonsai remember? Alright 4 hours more to the camp NEAR the summit. Camp Batok.Me and Joshua just posin haha. Hanwei takin.

This is what we saw when we reached Camp Batok. 6th person to reach including the teachers.. JS, Chen and Mr Eugene Chua the other teacher who came with us. They reached 30 mintues earlier! they were already pitchin tents and getting ready to eat, sleep, filled waters, and chua went to shit.. wtf... yangcheng's group and the NCCs came after me, hanwei and joshua reached another 30mintues later.

Now den we are really climbing to the top. Really really high. Starting point is Kem Batok.
